Yeah, the M3 metal cases are inapplicable, and the bussbars COULD be cobbled
together to work (less than ideal), but the unless the spacers themselves
are a different height, I'd think you could swap them for the -2 series
spacers - and do a little creative work for the pedal drawbars.  You also
would need 4 spinet's worth for that since the LM has only 8 drawbars.

I've never tried to do a smoothie conversion but I have had my -3 series
drawbar assemblies completely disassembled and replaced plenty of the broken
resistance wire on the contacts with resistors (a real PITA).
