You bring up a good point John.  This was one of the worries I had.  I've 
been a member for a while now and have heard many times that a BC has a much 
"fuller" sound than lets say a 1970 B-3 or a 1962 A-100.  Or another example 
is what you gave.  It seems as if there are pros and cons to every model of 
Hammond (well, maybe not every model) and I was afraid of losing some 
characteristics of the C-2 by messing around with it.  But perhaps a rebuild 
of the amp wouldn't be such a bad idea (or would it?).

Could you let me know what specifically sounds better about the AO-10 when 
compared to the AO-28?
