Hi,

couple obvious things to check

Can you hear the tone generator run??? Do you hold the start switch for 15 sec before turning th run switch on?

On a b-3 pre amp you can plug an rca jack into it an hear whether you are getting sound from the preamp. Not sure about the M3, don't know off hand which preamp it has.

other techies will have more complex questions, I'm sure
