Hello to all Hammond lovers,

My name is Eduardo, I'm from Porto Alegre, a city in the very south of BRazil and I've been seraching the net for info to help me out with some problems I'm experienceing with my recently bought C3.

The motor, after 40 minutes of playing, makes a strange noise and looses pitch (about half tone). If I turn it off, wait a few minutes and then turn it back on, the same problem repeats after 15 minutes of playing. If I repeat the procedure it works well for the next 8 minutes... One of the first thing I've noticed before buying is that the previous owner has made a modification on this organ to replace the Star/Run Motos for a Single Motor like the L Models. Could it be that this One Motor System do not work well for the C models? Rick Prevallet from Tone Wheel General said that I should check the single motor capacitor? Do you guys agree with him? Couldn't it be that the motor needs to be rebuilt? I mean rewired? Or should I try to go back to the two motor system? Here in Brazil we have the 50 cicles system, so do you know where I could buy a new 50 cicles Start and Run Motors?

Tks for you all and best wishes for the new year to come!

 Eduardo from Brazil
