[HAM] Block Heater?

Yikes that's cold.
I think I read from some that even a simple/temporary 60+watt light mounted 
in there (over center of TG for example with an auto-light or like light) 
can help keep the freeze at bay. To what degree I'm not sure.
Run the extension cord anyway you can into the vehicle.
