[HAM] Block Heater?

What would that synthetic be. We keep hearing Haoomond Oil only.

And... -8F? That's not cold! I have never had problems in Calgary with the B, 
but sometimes my Leslie won't spin on slow until it is warmend up. One could 
remove the back to get the warm temperature inside quicker.
