>Not really, since you can dial-in just about any tone you want an a New >B-3. And I'm still wondering what Magnus asked: you said you can tell the >difference. Lots of us can't, so it's an important question. How do you >tell? Oh. Well, the first time I noticed a difference was seeing Joey Defrancesco in Chicago. The organ sounded so oddly "perfect" that it made me stroll to the side to see the organ and that's when I saw it was a new B-3. That's it really, it still sounded like a great Hammond. As to "how" or "why" it caught my ear ... I dunno, it's anyones guess. I wasn't really thinking about it much or caring (he was burning it up that night with very few people in the audience - made for a very special show). Then later he announced what the organ was (and took a solo while lifting up the organ slightly with his left hand to show the weight diff/etc.). There seemed to be several Ham-Suzuki reps there at the show as well. Could I tell again? I dunno, maybe...maybe not. But then again it doesn't matter, I'll listen to any of those cats on a casio as far as I'm concerned ;) > >What do you mean the show's in trouble though? SB causing lack of peeps? > >Uh, yup. Uuugh. Well, I really want to go. I'm going to have a chat with my friend and see if there's any way to sub that night. I'm playing with him Sat night too now so maybe it can be worked out. I hope to see you dudes there too, it would be some Ham-fun. _________________________________________________________________ FREE online classifieds from Windows Live Expo buy and sell with people you know http://clk.atdmt.com/MSN/go/msnnkwex0010000001msn/direct/01/?href=http://expo.live.com?s_cid=Hotmail_tagline_12/06
