My c-3 is in my studio which is in another building on our property which is not heated or cooled during the time we are not up there. Last week it was 10 degrees in that room. 
What we do is go and put on the heat 2 hours or more before starting anything up. It Marshalls and Hammonds work fine when the temp gets to 55-60. We don't even try to start them up til then. Who can play with ice cold hands anyway? :)We oil once a year with Hammond oil. 
What I do worry about is condensation taking its toll eventually when the room has been hot all day from playing and then is allowed to go back down to 10-20. So far so good for over 10 years, but we know it just isn't the right thing to do.....
Could you take the panel off to let it warm up faster?

It was -8 in Chicago Tuesday. My weekly gig venue stores the Hammond in an unheated garage. Lately it's not happy about starting even if I bring it in a couple of hours before the show. Tuesday it refused to start. 

I posted this before, but I can't imagine I'm the only one who has had to deal with tonewheels in frigid temps. Lots of folks must leave organs in trucks or vans overnight. 

Any suggestions? The hairdryer didn't work.

Maybe Hammond needs "winter oil" like 0W30 ;-)
