The options on an XK-3 (never played a New B-3) are for four different
tonewheel sets. The certainly sound different from each other. In addition,
you can (although I've never tried) set each and every tonewheel
differently. Yeah, I've tried to get close to a BC, but the vibrato/chorus
of a BC is, of course, not there. By adjusting tone and, if one were
willing, adjusting the higher tonewheels to be louder, I should think that
one could get close. I did, without doing that, and using V1 and C1.

However, the New B-3 never claimed to or tried to be a substitute for those
old organs. I don't think that was at issue in the original discussion.
