[HAM] Tune "Sideman" (sidemen?)

On one of these Acid Jazz samplers I discovered a tune some time ago,
called "Sideman".
Anyone knowing this tune? It has some certain style. Would one call that 
"Boogaloo"? Is "Boogaloo" a name for a certain music style, dance or rhythm?
Just curious.
