That story is hilarious. Thanks for sharing.
The mouse probably wanted a song request: 3 Blind Mice.

This brought back a reminder from my past! Away back in the 60's I had a
customer in a small town in Manitoba, surrounded by grain farms. I had
sold Marge an M-111 which she had in their living room(parlor) and as
she was also the organist of her church, to whom I had also sold a
Hammond, she was busy practicing the next Sunday's music. She was aware
that they had mice in the house, but they were held in check by the
house cats. Mostly! This particular day, she was aware of a mouse which
scampered across the floor, and when she saw the mouse she yelled for
her husband to come kill it, and before he got there, said mouse had
disappeared behind the organ. She continued playing, and when she
paused, could hear the mouse IN the Hammond! It got in, but could not
find it's way out. So, Marge hit the expression pedal, pulled out a
handful of drawbars, and let 'er rip!! Well, the mouse let out a series
of loud squeaks, somehow managed to come out through the expression
pedal enclosure, went around in circles a couple of times, and dropped
dead in the middle of the parlor! Her husband who had arrived by this
time, saw all this occur, and broke right up! Marge heard him howling
with glee, turned around and saw the mouse and he told her that her
playing had killed the mouse! Actually the volume of sound had likely
killed the mouse, as where it was hiding, right under those speakers, it
got full blast....poor mouse likely imploded!!
Well, I wrote a poem about this little episode, and when I locate it,
will post it, for the amusement of all! I used to write some pretty good
rhymes, did one that I fired off to Don Leslie, about Leslie speakers,
and how the moooosic went round and round! My one problem is that I
never can recall them, and if I do not have them on paper, they are gone
forever. Mercifully so, in some cases :-D ! Cheers, Doug in BC
