[HAM] Brief elecric crackle sound when pressing any key on M3

Help please!

I recenlty got an M3. I'm noticing a quick crakle for a
milisecond right when each key is pressed. This happens on both
console speaker and through the line out to stereo speakers. When I
installed the line out I included a 10k potentiometer. This doesn't
seem to make any difference.

The seller mentioned that he replaced tone generator capacitors. He
thought this resulted in a brighter sound, but we didn't discuss the
quick click-crackle I hear.

Anybody have any ideas what this is? Can I remedy this?
