The can cap under the hood is an aftermarket add on :-)

It is a newer 147 amp with the black power transformer, yellowish chassis frame.Additional fuse in the HV path. What is the black thing near the relais? A
normal cap? Or an electrolytic one? For what purpose? As spark supressing cap
parallel to the contact?
