[HAM] speaker connection on M-100Stainless Brown stainlessbrown at sbcglobal.netFri Jan 5 09:49:17 CST 2007
Something is amiss--- This is a M-111 (I always though the two digits after the first one had to do with the cabinet/style/finish) anyway- the 8" speaker has one lead which comes from the AO-29 (terminal is marked "BN" over a "T". The other speaker wire is blue and goes up into the tone gereator. From the same BN/T terminal is a black wire, which seems to be paired with a green wire (comes from the tone generator), both of which have been cut when the previous owner pulled the AO-44- would these be the signal inputs for the AO-44 (and would it watter which wire went to which terminal ..which leaves me at the speaker output from the AO-44 and where exactly do I connect it? I never really looked at the speaker connection before, always assuming that the missing speaker was for the AO-44 output, however I notice that the remaing 12" speaker (in the center) has a set of parallel "jumpers which would conveniently connect to the other (and adjacent)12". The 8" speaker seams to get one lead from the main power amp and the other comes from the tone generator Any ideas? Thanks Stan PS, I still have the Leslie x77P power supply and amplifiers if anybody's interested for the price of shipping it. -- Subscription Options/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.zeni.net/hf/ Hammond-Leslie FAQ: http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/faq/ HammondWiki: http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/ hammond at zk3.dec.com archives: http://zk3.hammondforum.com/ -- Subscription Options/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.zeni.net/hf/ Hammond-Leslie FAQ: http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/faq/ HammondWiki: http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/ hammond at zk3.dec.com archives: http://zk3.hammondforum.com/
