[HAM] Does the BC have a volume gain?

I've noticed the BC i play at band practice doesn't have the volume gain as
 my B-3 has, and was wondering is there a way to get more ratio of gain in
 the pedal of this BC? I've checked the innards, and see different stuff in
 the BC as opposed to the B-3, i.e. no box with a screw in the BC..

 Is anything i can do to get mo gain ratio?
