[HAM] Hammond Leslie Reverb amp questionsDave Bishop xxcaptinxx at comcast.netSun Jan 28 23:16:35 CST 2007
As far as I know they were all the AO-35 reverb amps. I have it somewhere in my notes that the #12 lamp is used in the AO-35, which is 6.3 V/150 mA. If you can't find one, you can solder wire pins to a pair of #47 lamps so they will plug into the two pin socket. The lamp is employed as a limiter or compressor--a resistor would not serve the same purpose. You'd probably get a squeal. Most Hammond techs can sell you a #12 lamp-- here is a site at random: http://www.halfmoonelectronics.com/catalog.php/jamest47581/dt12043/pd150325 Regards, Dave Bishop
