[HAM] L-100 - running the whole signal through an Octavider ?Bohachewsky, Andrew V. abohachewsky at draper.comMon Jan 29 11:54:33 CST 2007
Well, actually, paying a phonograph through it is/was the official, original, intended use for it. I actually believe that phono equalization is applied to the input signal at this point. It was intended as a "play along" feature. Not sure why you couldn't just play along to the record player (unless perhaps a console/Leslie setup would generally overpower the home victrolas of the time...) For the bass trick I think you need to decouple the upper and lower manuals and then you can play monophonic left hand bass on an L.
