Strange enough... nothing. and it *is* a 1 1/2A slo-blo.  I was playing, then no sound and when I 
turned around, the trani was fizzling with smoke coming from under the amp.

The trani did have a bit of the dried waxy stuff (or what ever it is) on the outside when I got it.

The amp is pretty much original.  I've been meaning to get around to a rebuild.  I guess this really 
should get me going on that now.
