You're making it harder for those who don't have consoles to buy them later. In fact, your bringing up the price of spinets as well. That "spinets are worthless" clause in the Hammond bible is slowly overturning. Not that it had any credence in the first place, but what do I know? Somebody has to stand up for the little guy.

We're still a capitalist society, so the market still determines value.
If you don't want a chop, don't buy one. If 90% of the existing original 
A100s all get chopped, then your original is worth that much more.
