There was, but sewing machine oil or good ol' TG oil will work just fine.

Oooh.  No, if you're talking about some kind of silicone crème.  Glop and
dust = gum.  A bad combination.  Especially when you add friction heat.

Nah, you won't get any in the driver, which WOULD be bad.  You COULD drop
the driver and apply the drops directly to the bearing, but it's really not
necessary.  Just put a couple of drops in there as directed and get back to
playing.  You're good for years.
