hello hammond lovers of the world.....now that my 2
weeks in the archives is up..i have a few questions
that i havn't found answers to. HELP... the AO
24956-1 /5246342 has infinite resistance on the
primary side, 'open' i suspect . there was a 1k 2w(?)
resistor that measured 650 ohms and was blackend...the
resistor has been replaced. now i'm looking for a
replacement transformer for under $50...( MRT-1
#003-024956 @ $118 + shipping OUCH )..
STF-electronics.com has 269JX for $36.50 it has
250vac 250vac @60 mA w/ center tap and 6.3v @2.5 A
.... would / could this work ???? or is there some
other option.. i calculated the regulation current
from the schematic to be about 25 mA ? adding up the
resistance in the voltage divider string V/R = I ?
how much current does the AO-44-1 need ? this M 102
sn 35471 was given to me and has a few more problems i
hope to cure one at a time. i suspect the percussion
transformer is shot ( another $120 OUCH ) also but i
must find why the upper , middle 5 drawbars quit
first...buss bar adjust ?? any tips / help would be
grand....

regards,

JBS
