Seeing as how I don't have much technical know how on Hammonds, I figured I would ask some questions about my 1959 Hammond M3.

My first question is in regards to the amplifier. Ever picture I have seen of an M3 shows two. There is the larger one on the left (if standing behind the organ) and then a smaller one on the right. Mine only has the one on the left.

The second is in regards to what I belive is the capacitors. Mine are mounted to the underside of the top piece of wood (top of the organ). There is a rectangular box that is painted silver and on top is a row of 16 capacitors that sit a top of some kinda plush like material wrapped cylinder. Running throught the center of this is a dowel and on one end a cap that retains a spring.

I'm confused? But I'm sure somebody will know what I'm talking about.

Thanks in advance.

Josh.
