After making mention of Jack Lalanne on a previous post ,
  I decided to e-mail http://www.JaclLalanne.com
  and ask for information.
They kindly replied with the following :

David,
Thank you for your email to Jack...The organist was Dave Bacal -- who is
deceased. " The Jack LaLanne Show "-- as you probably know, were all
live, so he played each time...he also had played for silent movies...We
are trying to get the type of organ he played, as it is in storage, so
when and if we do, we will let you know.

Take care and no doubt you are building your health account,
Liz Cardenas
Aide to the LaLannes

---- It certainly sounds like a Hammond (sans Leslie ) to me .
His being a silent movie accompanist would certainly explain some of
the
  effects he chose .

The sound reminds me a lot of Ethel Smith on some of her novelty tunes
like
Teddy Bears Picnic and The Wind and I .
