Jazz Scene USA, JOS playing Mack on that - you will see and hear he's not 
always doing 1-4-5-1 (in fact, quite a bit isn't).
or check out Jimmy plays soft for you (and a few others of that time) where 
you can hear that he's not adhering only to the 1-4-5-1.

Ya know though there is a lot of 1-4-5-1 of course, and I think it might be 
a case sometimes where it's just very general and easier to describe the 
squabble in basic terms (which is normal), but i would highly suggest also 
focusing on explicit chordal squabbling.  Get those extensions in there, 3rd 
and 7th movements, etc.

Me too! I know i always need these reminders (part of the wonderful process 
i guess - we'll be practicing till we croak).
