[HAM] A-100 question & fed up

Hi -

I had a question about my A-100 & found this list - saw some 
interesting posts & some not so nice posts.
Where do I start?
I checked the 2 tubes 6au6 or something & switched them to see if the 
sound problem changed - no luck. - the organ has almost no sound - 
none at all when vib. tabs are on. What's my next step?  I did have a 
tech come out (no names here) & he poured alcohol? on the wires under 
the 2 switch tabs - it did help a bit - I did get a wee bit of sound back.

2nd thing - I was reading the posts - & ran across "fed up"  -   I 
just need to put my 2 cents in here & clear up something.

I've been to Steve Leigh's house & had a great time there with him & 
his wife Becky - it was a spur of the moment drop-in - I called & 
said I was in the area - never met either of them before, but had 
'met' on another list yrs ago.  My husband & I had a great time there 
- with both of them & with each one alone - Becky was explaining the 
workings etc of a B-3 to my husband while I was soaking up all the 
playing info I could from Steve - the afternoon turned into evening - 
we kept going & going - must have spent half the night there - I even 
sat in on a 'lesson' - a young group Steve was giving pointers 
to.  Becky & I spent more time together - playing with a young - 
"maybe to be" guard dog - he was soooo cute & we had a great time 
just chatting.  I just cannot believe that there was any problem or 
abuse between them - you can't spend that much time with people as we 
did & not have even a hint of anything.  We'd talked by phone after 
that a bit, then I lost track of Steve as I was going through a tough 
time & I didn't learn till later that Becky had passed away, but I 
just needed to clear up something & set the record straight -   They 
both loved each other very much.  You could see that in the way they 
interacted with each other.  Maybe I could have missed something, but 
my husband is a lot more observant than I am & he agrees on this with me.

I for one would like to see any rumors stop here.  If you haven't 
been there or talked with them, you can't know anything.  Becky was a 
very nice lady & I don't like seeing anything bad said.

Okay - my 2 cents is over - but I would wish that this list talk 
about Hammonds - I could really use some help!!
