Hi Scott.
Yes I am interested  to read the results about how you  fixed the dead
note problem in the organ.
 I have much less experience than you  have with Hammonds but even so I
successfully managed to open up both manuals of my 1963 C3 a few years
ago when I did the bass foldback / bass all the way down modification
even though this was a time consuming and tedious job because of all the
wires that have to be unsoldered.
