Ted, Send me the numbers off the Jensen and I'll see if I have one like it. Ed Crest25 at verizon.net ted at wetnoodle.net wrote: "Hi Ted, Nice score on the late 60s B-3 and 22H! I hate to be the person who points out the flaws, but it does look to me like your Jensen P15LL woofer is in serious need of re-coning. Being able to see through the holes in the cone is my clue.... If you get it done, I would ask whoever does it to try to re-use your original voice coil if it's in good shape. And if you look around, you can actually find original Jensen paper cones for these things. David A." Yup! That and the missing back panel :( So you think I should get my speaker reconed locally by someone recommended? I was going to buy a new speaker from Ebay or the Internet that says it has been reconed. I thought she was a late 60's as well but my serial number was one off from a serial number posted on the "Age Determination list" puts it at 62 which my "L" is also a 62 model. How was production quality for 62? In the back there is a reverb unit with a 6X4 metal box attached to it, and there seems to be a tube or two in there. Strangely the rca jacks on the reverb tank don't have wires running to it. The wires run to the box I described. There is a Reverb knob control on the left side under the halfmoon switch. I've heard the term "Silky Reverb" used countless times and thought the person using that phrase was exaggerating. Meh, reverd is reverb. But this thing, has Reverb to cry for. It is "Silky Reverb" in every since of the word. -- Subscription Options/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.zeni.net/hf/ Hammond-Leslie FAQ: http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/faq/ HammondWiki: http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/ hammond at zk3.dec.com archives: http://zk3.hammondforum.com/
