There's enough in your post to argue with for thew next year, but let me just pick on this one point, which isn't really a matter of opinion. The fact is that the multiple key contacts in the New B-3 are, by far, one of its most expensive-to-produce features. The XK-3 was designed for a price point that would sell more than a few units. If it had analog contacts, most of us would not be able to afford it. I do applaud your spleen however.
