[HAM] How hard would this be?

Ideally it wouldn't cost much to make one what with all the discarded
spinets. 
I figured it could be done.  I didn't say I want to buy one, I was
tossing the idea 
Around of making one, and pondered why it isn't a norm? 
Cost yaddy yaddie yaddah, look what people lay out on crap gear. 
4 grand? I know people with Les Pauls and Strats you couldn't touch for
that.
Tone wheel being of a popular concession that it is superior to digital
and sampled 
Technology. I think it's a no brainier unless there was a reason it
couldn't 
Be done. 
 
Ooh built in rotating horns, un powered of course to keep weight down.

Interesting concept on those 8 channel solid state switches, where do
you get those?
That would be perfect for each key and a single switch for the
percussion on the upper 
Manual.
