ha ha. I wonder if that thing has survived. Anyone know anyone who has a Kinsman. Not a cousin but an organ.

  Bill,

I'm told ANY B3 you touched is blowing woofers. The only one that isn't is spelled Kinsman.

Re. blown woofer in Leslie. See if that B3 is from the San Diego area. There is one that used to be in a club there that belonged to the house. I played there. I wanted a string bass on the B3. I did a wrong thing and copied the harp circuit from another model hammond to use for bass sustain and it blew out the Leslie woofer a couple of times. (I goofed by using that circuit). The club owner sold the club and the B3. So that B3 may still be around blowing woofers without anyone having any idea what is the cause.

I found this baby on Craigslist for 1200 with a 22H leslie.
It sounds amazing, the drawbars were a little scratchy but I deoxed them and they are smooth now.
There is one key that sits abouty 1/8 of an inch higher than the others on the lower manual.

I've been a Hammond owner for a little over a month. I've kept an eye peeled to the computer screen, Ebay and CL looking for a Leslie deal.
After seeing auction after auction of Leslie, half moon switches, 6 pin cords and Conection boxes all in separate auctions and fetching high dollars.
I was almost resigned at never having a leslie for my "L" spinet. I've been getting by with a Motion Sound AR112.

I was shocked to find the complete package for what I was willing to spend on just a leslie with all of the connection components.

FWIW, I still love my "L102" and I think the bad rap they get are unjustified. I play my B, then jump on the L and I don't miss anything.
I was expecting I would be kicking the "L" to the curve or at least selling it.
Now I want to hang on to both, the B is a logistic nightmare and probably will never see a gig stage, unless I have roadies and a big buget tour.
They are two separate instruments. Like playing a Les Paul or a Stratocaster, they are both great, but not the same.

Here's pics of my B3
