I think it is worth little. Here is a choice quote to make my point:
          "Tom and I agreed that the bass response of its 12" 
Eminence woofer was more reserved than the 15" Leslie 330 and 142, but
         disagreed on the merits of this. Tom said 'I'd be 
uncomfortable with this if the band relied on organ for bass', to 
which I replied that if
         you're in a band with a bas player the XXXX sounded perfect 
for riding your clonewheel's lowest notes just above the bass guitar...."
So the gist of that was that a Leslie had weak bass response, but 
hey, who wants all that bass anyhow. Gee, thanks.
