I meant using a resistor as a load just for the purpose of measurement so that you would get more consistent measurements in the event that the probe impedance was affecting the readings. Paralleling a resistor at the TG terminal is an alternate method to bring down the signal as opposed to the more dangerous pickup adjustment. If you want to use the word "taper" you're going to have to ask for OF's permission first. ;-) Hugh ----- Original Message ----- From: dwage at dwage.com Date: Monday, March 12, 2007 10:19 am Subject: Re: [HAM] Tone Generator > > Wouldn't a more accurate (or relevant depending on your preferred > > symantics) method be to load down each TG terminal strip output with > > a fixed resistor in order to eliminate input impedance > variations of > > the probe affecting the readings? > > > > Hugh > > I just bought a 64 b3 and believe me I am not going to try and > revoice the organ or > anything nuts like that.
