Guys, I'm sorry about this small club booking. It's clear I can't book these 
kind of shows there again.
I like the sound of a small club (love it really - less PA/micing the 
better...but that's selfish, I know), but it's become clear this go-round a 
40 seat tiny room just isn't going to work.  This is only our 2nd gig with 
McTuff and the last time we played there, crowded as it was, it had a nice 
casual vibe and feel.  That's the only reason I booked it again.   But now 
the roomsize factor is clearly a problem.
Anyway, I feel awful about this.  I'm very sorry about that, I didn't know 
it was sold out until last night. Come May McTuff members will be around 
again and an appropo venue will be booked.

Ya know, it's funny in this city. In the past when a "local artist" books a 
mid to large venue and the words "jazz" are associated, it can be the kiss 
of death in attendance sometimes (and then the club get's uninterested in it 
all).  Then other times it can be fine and dandy.
