[HAM] plate or spring reverb?

I have a plate, believe it or not.  It's the size of a door.  With a steel
square-tube frame and weighs about 200 pounds.  Whoever finished my basment
left a two-foot wide passage  between the interior wall and the foundation -
right behind my studio.  It slips in there perfectly.  Lucky me.
