I think a portaB is pretty much a "portable-ized" version of an L series tonewheel spinet. The B200 is a transistor based (think Vox/Crumar/Elka) portable organ, similar to an X5 but with two 4 octave manuals rather than the two 3 1/3 octave spinet manuals. The portaB will probably give you more of the classic Hammond sound. The B200 does go down to a low C so that left hand bass stuff might be easier though no idea how it would sound. I believe both have a built in 760 9 pin connection - which should probably be utilized for optimum sonics! Two very different beasts.
