[HAM] B200

I think a portaB is pretty much a "portable-ized" version of an L series
tonewheel spinet.

The B200 is a transistor based (think Vox/Crumar/Elka) portable organ,
similar to an X5 but with two 4 octave manuals rather than the two 3 1/3
octave spinet manuals.

The portaB will probably give you more of the classic Hammond sound. The
B200 does go down to a low C so that left hand bass stuff might be
easier though no idea how it would sound. I believe both have a built in
760 9 pin connection - which should probably be utilized for optimum
sonics!

Two very different beasts.

Andy

That's not too far, but still considering the different portable
hammonds. Do you think the B200 or the Porta-B is better?
