>>Hi Sounds like it is time to rebuild the entire unit. Contact a Pro for the best results.... shayes>> I really hate to disagree with Steve, whose Hammond knowledge is infinitely greater than my own (and who has helped me considerably). But I had the same problem and -- despite having very limited technical skills -- solved it quite easily. I went into the vibrato switch box on my B2, removed the 22K resistor (which is the only resistor in the box) and soldered-in a 12K resistor (the same value used on A-100s and, as I understand it, later production 3 series models). Bingo! The chorus went from being dull to a wonderful, shimmering sound. It was a real "wow" moment. The toughest part is getting into the vibrato switch box without dropping screws into the inner cavities of the organ. Use a stubby screwdriver to get enough room to work and place a towel underneath to catch those screws. Maybe Steve's right and your problem is more complex. But if you can do a little soldering, I'd try this first. Alan --------------------------------- Don't get soaked. Take a quick peek at the forecast with theYahoo! Search weather shortcut.
