[HAM] The great LG on Bill stewart vidjoe d joedoria at hotmail.comFri Mar 30 15:03:03 CDT 2007
Goldings is (to me at least) one of the more original players out there, pushing the organ into new directions, and this video/songs. His phrasings and patience, sense of time, feel, and experimentation with the organ and it's sounds are constant lessons. This vid is no exception. Peter Bernsteins gtr playing on this vid is near perfect. Bill Stewart, although no "Tain" Watts, is simply amazing as usual. The soloing on this vid (such as with "why don't I") is just plain tasty. But, much like more footage or an overdue documentary on Jimmy Smith, the video isn't available. >From: OF <scott195 at centurytel.net> >Reply-To: The Hammond Forum <hammond at zeni.net> >To: The Hammond Forum <hammond at zeni.net> >Subject: Re: [HAM] The great LG on Bill stewart vid (i want this whole >video) >Date: Fri, 30 Mar 2007 08:58:34 -0700 > >At 02:55 PM 3/27/2007, joe d wrote: > >more uboob love.... > >http://youtube.com/watch?v=FMXJyuV9vF4 > >I love that sound of slow percussion decay.
