http://hammondb3organ.net/tg/60vs64pedals.JPG I've been at it again. This image includes the pedals and are separated in 12 note octaves, starting with tone 1 to 91. I think personally that my 1960 B3 #81898 is the best sounding b3 I have ever laid hands on. A little biased maybe but a damned fine instrument. If you look at the image you can see that tone 54 and 78 are a little hot. If you really listen while playing you can hear it but it is not offensive. I probably won't mess with these. On the other hand, my 1964 B3 #93380 has some problems. First, tone 85 is really loud and very noticable. Especially high C 8'. I will be changing the pickup on this tone. My question to the group is about tones 73 - 84. You can plainly hear the drop off of these tones in the upper half of the keyboard using 888888888. It is VERY noticeable. Especially with tones 61-72 being slightly louder than 49-60. Any thoughts on this? DW
