Or, if you're of the computer/networking side,  You could use a shielded
rj45 patch panel and cat5 jumpers.  The back of the Hammond would look like
a telecom closet.  Then you could modularize it, put a splitter on it and
route bass pedals to the lower manual on the fly!



Actually that is on my list of things to try after the A100 rebuild which
may get done next month give or take 2 years. Since all the octaves of a
note are grouped in the generator each cat 5 could carry a tone. 12 cat 5's
would work just fine. I think crosstalk would be reduced if each cable
carried 1 tone.
