Chopping a Hammond?

Ahhh, the most horrid of words.
Can't stand the way they look, feel...and just are. No F'n thanks.

Besides, there are new clones out for this kind of thing.

There are so many who seem to write it off saying...ah the cabinet was 
dead/done/blah-blah.
yeah-yeah...I'm sure it may be true in some cases.  How about RESTORING it 
(cab and all)?
Even the near worst case scenario can be restored i believe.

Strange words remind many: the originals, all models...are no longer made 
anymore.
No reason to chop, every reason to RESTORE!

Now the gurus who know how to chop really know their stuff...no arguement 
there.
But I bow to those who take time to RESTORE - yeah-yeah baby!!
