Would you possibly want a way to tie two bars together, so if you  
moved one the other stayed indexed to it?

P.S. I dream of having enough time on my hands to doing lighted  
manuals with modern LEDs. I concoct scemes of giving up a
drawbar contact so the key would change color when you play it. With  
an LED, you could actually mount it INSIDE the key, not just under  
it. mmmm lights.
