[HAM] Mechanical Leslie noise

Hello everybody;

while I'm waiting for the parts for the AO-10 rebuild to arrive (thanks
again for the various informations) I thought I'd tackle some of the issues
with my Leslie 122. While it is in reality an RV I have for now removed the
reverb amp.

Anyway, I'm experiencing bad noises at fast speed. So far I've narrowed it
down to the upper motor. To me it seems that this is a resonance problem -
the motor is totally quiet when not mounted to the Leslie. But in its usual
position it (or the Leslie housing) develops are comparatively loud hum.
It's definitely not the horn; it's just as if the motor somehow transmits
too much energy mechanically via its mountings.

Is this a known problem and if so is there a solution for this?

Thanks and best regards,
