Yes, Murph IS one of the good guys! He's done a couple of repairs for
me. He doesn't try to sell you parts, or, do repairs you don't need.
He'll fix what needs fixin' and in my case, talked me through, (on his
cell phone) reinstalling my preamp and adjusting the expression pedal. I
thought I was in need a complete rebuild of my pre-amp. But, after
checking it out, Murph found it needed a new output transformer and one
capacitor. And I must say it made a huge difference in the sound and
output. The volume is twice as loud as it was before. Got rid of all the
crackling and popping also. I don't think my B3 ever sounded this good!
Thanks again Murph if you happen to read this list.
Really nice guy, and really knows Hammond repair and maintenance.

Ricky

Hey John,

Didn't see anything there yet, after a careful reread of your post I can
see that Murph is one of the good guys. A casual reader who just went
directly to the link might get the wrong idea...

Follow the link an enjoy. Also thanks to
Murph for exposing this kind of selling practice and saving the
reputation of those of us, myself included, who are upstanding and
honest in
our business practices. Murph has provided a large number of pictures
of what he found when this masterpeice arrived to him to repair, and
also the original sellers advertisment for it. Parental control is
advised. http://www.nashvilleprohammond.com/greenb3.html
