[HAM] Spinning like a monkey (fast/slow switching probs)

Hmmm...sometimes my leslie won't stop spinning. 
 
I just replaced my leslie switch (new one bought from rick p.) and although the old switch was worn and it was worth replacing it, it didn't resolve a constantly spinning leslie issue.  For a while it'll work fine, but as I keep playing eventually it will intermittently stop switching to chorale/slow and stay spinning fast.
 
Besides the 12au7 tube what other things might I need to look at?  Could it be a problem developing in the leslie kit?
 
I have the type leslie kit: Hammond Suzuki 6122 Leslie Kit (but with the older halfmoon switch instead of the toggle type)
