I don't know if pricing is comparable, since I live in Sweden. That 
said, in today's dollar-to-krona exchange rate, it cost me about $350 
together with its original 1x15" cabinet, both in really good nick. Keep 
in mind that the US dollar is at an all-time-low (or maybe not ALL TIME 
low, but lower than it's been for 20-some-years' time) at the moment, 
compared to our currency - 7 years ago, when I was last in the US, a 
dollar cost me about 11,50 SEK to but. Now it's at 6,50 or so.

The markings on the amp say "min 8 ohms". The L2 is the little brother 
of the LAB series bass amps, at 100 watts. There's also a 200 watt 
version called the L4 - whether it sounds as good I don't know.
