Thanks to
Srdjan "With Korg you can even do without a Leslie."
Sound wise - I had the same combo CX3/145 , with a Speakeasy, and it sounded
great to me"

Joe "use their Korg CX and haul NOTHING for a change"

Alan,"I'd think a CX-3 with a Leslie would be plenty "good
enough" for your gig.

Dave "I'd recommend the XK-3 mainly because you already know where most of
the controls are and you can practice with it awhile before you go.
That would be a big advantage. Get a few hours on it before you fly
off. Have the owner give you the "Fast XK-3 Course"

I'm actually not familiar at all with the XK3 and will not be able to see the
owner. You know how to get me prepared, but these are all the reasons(patch
cords, memory, tubes, wiring solutions. I'm taking 3 mikes and a xlr Y adaptor
in case they only give me one channel. I still like the B3 - 1 leslie cable, 1
power cable...oh well - Brock

John "The XK3 not better enough to warrant the hassle of taking one on the
plane."
 and
Christian "if you are into rock and blues, the Korg will be great."

And the winner is ...
KORG
Looks like it's best to go with the matched set on site. The best advice was
from Joe and Alan "Don't move gear for a change.
My back is forever indebted to you guys.
This is the gig
www.18forever.com I will be in the house band "Cool Jerks" Check out the bios
for some of the people playing. Probably won't mean a lot to anyone under 50
who isn't from Ontario.

"Be thinking of B-3's and Leslies goin round"

"Friends help you move. Real friends help you move bodies. Great friends help
you move your B3"
