[HAM] L-143 noise

 Oil - let it sit for a week - if that doesn't do it try oiling with a 50/50
mix of Hammond oil and lighter fluid. Worked like a charm on an abused E112.

Subject: [HAM] L-143 noise

I just got hold of a L-143 that starts & plays but has the most awful bunch
of grinding, squawling noises I have ever heard.  Also "B" above middle "C"
makes a strange sound at times & plays the note at times.  I have oiled the
motor & the TWG cups but they have been neglected for a long time. HELP!
