Hi David. Yes the JBL adaptor apparatus for sale on ebay by Jazzmatt is quite similar to what I built into my Leslie 122. The aluminium plate carries the weight of the 11 kilogram JBL 2482 . Although Jazzmatt does not mention the name of the modified Leslie that he took this out from , the description indicates that it was a Bill Beer high power Leslie. The machined metal throat adapter looks like those used in the Leslie 925. It is very nice to have another C3 . I have now began the process of unsoldering the manuals so that I can open them up and remove all the gooey black foam. There is one dead note on the lower manual and I expect that this is caused because of the black foam causing the resistance wire to corrode and break. I have yet to find out how many other resistance wires have began to corrode. I stuck my finger inside under the left side of the lower manual and I touched the foam strip and it felt moist and the part that I touched broke off . I removed that broken piece with a pair of thin pliers and that piece of foam was sticky and brittle . After I finish defoaming and repairing my new 1965 C3 , I will then have to defoam the manuals of my late 60's L-143 and my 1972 XTP organ. All the best.
