Hi Bill. I do not know if Hammond changed the tapering after 1966. Most of the measured TG output curves of the post 1966 organs that I have look more or less similar so therefore if there was a change it would most likely have been with the tapering resistances. The only organs in my collection of measured TG output curves that had a very high treble calibration were the H-100 series and the earlier T-series organs and one late 60'/early 70's UK built A100. The later T-series organs in my TG data collection have a TG curve more like that of a normal B3 / C3 etc. I have played a 1970 T-300 organ with the very high treble calibration and this sounded very thin and nasal. After I recalibrated the whole TG to have a more normal B3 etc type TG curve , the sound was significantly improved because it was now much fatter sounding. If a late era B3 sounds dull then it might be possible that the Tone Control has been set to a low brightness setting , or perhaps the AO28 preamp or the Leslie have become dull sounding because of age related deterioration. All the best.
