Years ago, on a very hot summer evening, we had the bedroom window open,
and Blitz, a kitty, used to go in and out the window to get to the roof. On
this fateful night, the window suddenly let go with Blitz underneath it,
and it slammed down hard on her tail. She was off like a shot, running and
hiding. Where did we finally find her? In the top compartment of the
Leslie, way back in the back. It was no mean feat getting her out of there
and off to the emergency vet. Amazingly, her tail was fine after a course
of Prednisone.

Love them walking-bass-playing cats!
